so what are you getting instead mate? SL65 looks pretty amazing - even though SL is having a facelift.....incredible story to come...basically, MB London sold me a nearly new SL500 2 years back - week into it, didn't drive right - anyway cut along story short - they sold me a duff one, been involved in a minor accident, but alignment was so far off they couldn't get it on a jig.....and would not let me have it back! They gave me £50K off my next one...

55 is a great car mate.......kinda an all or nothing kind of car - found it hard to drive leisurely - thats why I liked my 650 Sport - but for a howl of a drive, nothing comes close to 55's. Great driving position too....shame about the digital clock though - my one thing I HATED about my SL!!!

Great car though......I used to have a 280 SL Pagoda...and sold it a few years ago - wish I didn't. The most beautiful car in cream..

Hi Jay, will push any potential buyers in your direction, the fact its fully loaded will help, plus you've hardly driven it!!

By the way, as im very good friends with Jay and know where this car has come from and how its been looked after, if anyone wants to purchase this vehicle and secure finance/pex on it, would be more then happy to buy this car off jay into stock and fund it for any potential purchaser.. just to make it a bit easier..
