United Arab Emirates 2008 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Rimini Red
I need your advice guys! Buying my 2nd RRS SC color dilemma

My dealer here has two available RRS SC, cairns blue and rimini red....this will be my second RRS, after I sold my black/ivory SC last year when I had to move.

Considering everyone and their mother has a RRS here, I picked those two colors because they are somewhat rare. The rimini red has the ebony interior while the cairns blue has ivory. And both have the HST kit on (please no bashing!). What do you guys think. The rimini red looked very nice at the showroom, and the cairns blue i only saw on the road. which one looks better with the HST kit? any pics of a cairns blue RRS HST??

Thanks guys,

Rimini here too. Hope that you have been able negotiate a huge discount because S/C's don't exactly walk out of the showroom, and S/C's with the HST kit must be even more difficult to sell................... 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Just noticed that you are in the USA, so your options on engines are rather limited, and S/C probably sells a lot easier in the USA with your $1 a gallon fuel than it does over here with gas at $2.20 a litre
Rimini will look better in bright sunlight too 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Tim, I just paid $4/gallon for premium unleaded here in Los Angeles, first time ever. Diesel is approaching $4.50/gal, so whether bringing TDV8s to the US would make sense for Land Rover remains to be seen... Around here we are resigned to the fact that we will get to $5/gallon, diesel and probably gas, within a few short months.

I like Rimini too but not sure it will work with HST kit on. Also, Rimini looks great when clean but a bit non-descript when dirty. I also think Rimini would look better with one of the lighter colour leathers, not ebony.

Personally wouldn't consider Cairns blue Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

Go for Rimni and the Ebony interior will be easier to look after compared to the Ivory interior of the Blue. Malaysia Boleh!

Thanks guys, wow that was easy...not one vote for the cairns blue!
I actually moved from Newport Beach to Dubai, and the RRS SC are a dime a dozen, and a good chunk of them are HSTs!
Coming from a black/ivory, I wanted a change for the ebony interior, it's not as "pretty", but I think it looks sportier 2008 RRS SC Rimini HST
