Really impressed with your pics, VW... what camera is it, and have you done much work with the raw photos to make them look as good as they do?

Nikon D80 with a 18-200 nikkor lens. Nice all rounder .... due to the fact i shoot raw means the pics come out of the camera with nothing applied to them (as oposed to when you shoot jpeg which means the camera applies some settings and saves to the lossy jpeg). The raw allows me alot more 'play' without ruining the quality of the pic. Also very handy when you havent slept much and brain isnt working 100% . I always shoot in full manual, although the moving shots were taken in sport mode this time . I usually can do a picture in about 15-20 seconds. Then i just apply the borders with the batch command in photoshop at the end to all the images in the folder. |

Shooting raw means having a decent size memory card in the camera, I presume?
