We’re probably going to make the weekend, if not a bit more, of it. Sail over on Friday morning, then a blast down the M4 to London. Will stay over on Saturday night, might drive out to Duxford, or something like that on the Sunday. Then we’re looking at heading for Dover on Monday & over to France for a few days. I’d like to visit the Normandy beaches, which I haven’t been to since I was kid. Load the Sport with wine ( ) & either sail back direct from France, or a blast across the UK again to Fishguard & on home. |

Rupert, look at the Four Seasons out in Oxfordshire.....very nice. Sounds like you have an excellent trip planned mate. Mrs Nick wasn't sure about coming, but sure she will if other Mrs are coming too...and if your Mrs is into shopping, handbags and the like, they will get on fine!

Just one last gem to tell you of, there is a Hotel called 55 Hanger Lane - a victorian house thats been converted into a boutique hotel - only has a handful of rooms - but it quite special (for the area anyway) much nicer than Holiday Inn or Travelodge, and for a quick night or two - it's a great location and lovely rooms - and it's only about £75 a night - check it out if you can...just Google 55 Hanger Lane W5 |

Hey all, new to the site, (joined yesterday), just wondering if there are any spaces available? Would love to hook up and chat about RRS, I'm a noobie to them, but I LOVE EM' 2008 RRS S/C, Java Black/Ebony Sports Seats, Side Steps, Zebrano, Privacy Glass, Premium ICE, Hybrid TV, 22" Black/Polish Stormers. |
