Dubai trip was good, am darker than a somalian in a pizza hut oven......weather great, beach great, women hairy, work good......good to see numbers still getting up there for the meet

So many russians and germans - we always stay at Jumeirah beach.....but then if you go to the Emirates mall, you see the local women....not pretty!!

Burj is the one to stay at

Mate of mine is a golf pro teaching at The Creek and he said it is f g boiling now.

We have stayed at the Burj a few times in the past 2 years - but tell anyone if they want something special, the Beit Al Behar villas at the Jumeirah beach are really good, or the Royal Mirage Residence...and there is a really fantastic hotel on the Palm opening this year too....

OK, this is the plan for the meet....the full plan, and people can drop in if they wish at any stage, but as mentioned on here before, it's an invited event only - and additional cars may not be accommodated.

Some members have expressed an interest about driving up on Friday Night, and staying 2 nights. Things to do for these two nights have been planned, namely Saturday where we are going for a beer and a curry after we finish up at Ace (or a bit later if people want time inbetween) after the curry, there is a little afterdinner occasion at a place called For Your Eyes Only....look into this if you want to come along.

So far we have 19 cars and 24 guests. We have 13 confirmed on here and 2 not sures - I have 6 others who would like to come.

We are meeting at 12pm at Charles Hurst Park Royal for a tour of the facility and group pics etc - and a quick rummage thru the parts department. At about 1pm, we are heading out of London for a RRS Convoy down the M40 to Beaconsfield with a return planned to Ace Cafe for 2pm. Pretty much as soon as we get there we will grab some lunch and we then have the rest of the afternoon to lift up each others skirts and have a look at our kit.

I am open to people getting in touch by PM to make hotel reservations at either the Travellodge or Holiday Inn. I have a car wash company on stand by for any car washes. I also hope to get someone at the event to sell any badges, grills, vents etc - with a % donation to the site.

I urge as many of you as possible to bring cameras with you, as the more pics the better, and I also hope VA/Martin will make arrangements for RRS stickers etc - with worthy contributions from anyone who cares to donate to the excellent administration of this site. AND finally, remember I'm paying out £100 to the winner of the best car at the event........
