Anyone fancy a Campervan ?
Does anyone out there in RRS world fancy a Campervan for fun packed, trouble free holidays ?
We have an Elddis Autoquest Camper that we bought new in 2004 byt to be honest have hardly ever used. It did one great holiday in Cornwall, but since then it has had no more than very occassional weekend use. Mad really as its an excellent van, with all creature comforts (4 berth, 4 forward facing inertia reel seats, cooker, oven, fridge, hot air heater, water heater, fresh water tank, used water tank, loo, shower, sink, 3 bike rack etc etc). The Autoquest was a low cost campervan rather than some mobile high spec bungalow with an engine, so it is very economical. It has a Peugot Boxer 2 litre diesel Hdi engine which allows the vehicle to cruise at 70mph all day pretty economically.
