Resale colours and specs on a HSE

Gents,

I am looking to replace my wife's car with a TDV6 HSE. My thinking is to keep it for around 12 months with a view to trading up to a V8 next year, ideally without losing my shirt in the process!

I know black sells well, but which other colours are eay to resell? Are there any extras that the car should have to help resale?

Many thanks.

Basically just stay clear of gold. Some would also say white but the general opinion is that the RRS looks Cool in white. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

VA, I am just back from hols in South Africa's Transvaal province and have seen two RRS in maya gold or whatever it's called and the cars looked quite stunning, under the African sun that is of course Thumbs Up SOMETIMES YOU'RE THE BUG AND SOMETIMES YOU'RE THE WINDSHIELD

Hmm.... Shocked

Look good or otherwise, it's not a colour for easy resale.

The Java and Zermatt (Silver) are always easy to sell on along with Buckingham Blue. Some of the other colours (the greens and Lugano Teal - a sort of metallic turquoisey colour) will be less eagerly taken on in part exchange.

As it stands now, folks aren't having to spend too much to get out of their TDV6s into the TDV8s. This is testament to the values of the TDV6 still holding up (even though they're not quite so buoyant as they once were). When I chopped mine in back in 06, I actually made money on it after a year's ownership Thumbs Up

Good point Shmoogle. Diablo wants to keep the car only for 12 months so resale value is definitely an issue.

However where I live 80% of all RRS are black, so if resale is the main issue, at least over here it might be the better option not to go for Java SOMETIMES YOU'RE THE BUG AND SOMETIMES YOU'RE THE WINDSHIELD
