If it were me I would persevere. Go in and see your existing Service Manager by appointment and let him have one last attempt at fixiing it. If he doesn't, take it to another dealer, even if it means a longer journey. Explain your past experience and ask them if they are confident of being able to fix it - and ask for a loan car well in advance.

It's definitely worth persevering mate, although I can understand how you feel. It must be very disappointing to pick up a new car and then end up forging a lasting relationship with your service department.

Car being returned this afternoon. Gave them the car on almost zero petrol this time so they couldn't take the . Will be interesting to see if its cleaned!
