Sunday i had a good run to St Albans, no not near Watford but North of Sydney on the old Northern road, which is pretty unsealed and very holey in places. Some great scenery, but not any worthy enough for a photo for entry into the Calendar competition, i am saving that for the Great Ocean Road trip

I remember driving up to the Hunter Valley about 15 years ago and there were loads of road signs stating 'Don't blame us blame the government for the state of the roads!'' (Can not remember the exact quote!) 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

VA the state of the main road system is pretty shocking, in particular the Pacific Highway which runs to Brisbane nearly and is no better than a B road in the UK in places. However there are some roads we go and find for some off-road Gravel driving, they are usually in the bondooks with great scenery Cheers Jim Another Pommie Bar Steward down under MY20 Defender 110 SE P400 Eiger/Ebony MY10 3.0 RRS TDv6 Fuji/Ebony/Anigre |

Zilch, that reverberation you mentioned, I have this with mine (D3), I think it is the spare wheel vibrating when going over anything less than smooth surfaces. I've made sure it's pulled tightly up to the rubber stops, but the reverbs have not gone away. I must take the spare down one day,(not in this weather though), secure the cable and drive it, to see if the noise disappears.
