Nokia 6230i in car phone

I have a RR Sport 2005. Can anyone advise if the Nokia 6230i is compatible with the PTI for the 2005 model ?

It is fitted with a plug for various phone cradles (under the centre armrest console) and their is one available for the 6230i. It will then be fully compatible with the PTI in your car as long as it has the correct software. This can be checked out by looking at Land Rovers website where they list compatible phones for different VIN chassis numbers and quote any applicable software. You can always contact Nokia for advice regarding software queries.

Hope this helps Gone - 2008 TDV8, Stornoway Grey, ebony, zabrano trim, TV, Tasmods, mudflaps.

If you take it to your dealer they will [ for a small charge = £100 or so] update your phone software to the latest specification ... this will then allow full phonebook access over bluetooth. You may also want to get your dealer to update the sat nav software too

6230's worked fine from launch, however the 'i' model needed a software update for full functionality via the cradle. As mentioned, ask your local dealer to check, or try the phone to see how it performs first.

6230i definitely works and very well too. It's about the only phone you can 100% trust with the RRS PTI.

And without any upgrades my Motorola V3i and my 2008MY Blackberry Pearl both work with full phone functionality
with the 2008MY version of the B/T software. All I needed to do was to copy the address book from the simcard memory into the phone's memory in both cases.
Was there any advance on why somebody couldn't get all 450 of the contacts on their phone to be read by the B/T? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
