2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Chawton White

I have seen an old TSB, dated September 2006, concerning RRS VIN-range: 5A900109-6A979191.

This addresses the concern that during long journeys, the cabin temperature drops to below the set level.

Apparently the cause of it is that the in-vehicle temperature sensor within the heating system is detecting additional heat from behind the fascia. The heating system incorrectly attempts to reduce the cabin temperature to compensate.

The cure is to install a foam insulator to the in-vehicle temperature sensor carrier. This insulator prevents air being drawn over the sensor from anywhere other than through the sensor grill.

Don't know if this is applicable to you. Malaysia Boleh!

The vin isnt applicable to my car but maybe the content of the TSB is. Do you have a copy of it please?
