What would you buy

Just wondering if the TDV8 was available would you buy one or would you buy a TDV6 or a petrol model. Its out there somewhere. Second V10 Treg on the drive at the moment.

Spain 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Buckingham Blue

I suppose it depends on what improvements performance-wise there were on the TDV8 240-260hp isn't enough because I can get that improvement from TC for only 600 quid.Somehow I don't think the new TDV8 is going to be 600 quid more than the TDV6. As I have said before Range Rover know that they are on to a winner with the RRS and are going to milk it for all its worth. I am going to keep my RRS for 4 years and then I will see what's about. RRS TDV6 HSE BUCKINGHAM BLUE BLACK LEATHER INTERIOR RHODIUM TASMOD SILLS PARROT 3000 EVOLUTION WHITE SIDE REPEATERS RRPORT.CO.UK BROLLY & STICKER

Yeah but imagine what TC will be able to do to the TDV8 for 600 quid. 2013 New Range Rover Sport HSE SDV6

Good answer Persuader ok TC what could you do to a TDV8?!!!!!!! Laughing Laughing Laughing Perhaps if the performance is too near the Supercharged it would dampen sales a little or not? RRS TDV6 HSE BUCKINGHAM BLUE BLACK LEATHER INTERIOR RHODIUM TASMOD SILLS PARROT 3000 EVOLUTION WHITE SIDE REPEATERS RRPORT.CO.UK BROLLY & STICKER

Supercharged performance for £600, and a heap less in initial cost and better fuel consumption........................ TC TDv8 could be a winner. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

With Petrol prices continuing to rise, I believe TDV8 will be a good replacement for the Petrol V8. Probably at a slightly higher price (5%?) over the Petro V8?

I would definitely choose a TDV8 over the present petrol 4.4, and probably over the SC 4.2

But I won't be trading in my SC 4.2 for the TDV8, because the depreciation cost would be much more than the mileage saving.

If my plans continue succesfully, I will be keeping my TDV6 for two to three years and will hopefully buy new before my warranty runs out.
The only change to this would be a windfalll Cool or an exceptional deal at the dealers (not likely).
If and when the TDV8 gets into production i would love to see the performance and off road ability in direct comparison to its petrol bretheren. Its out there somewhere. Second V10 Treg on the drive at the moment.

Ha.... but.....yes...but...etc etc etc

TC and many other tuners are also developing products ( such as remap of ecu )for the Supercharged not sure if it will be for £600 but would def keep it well ahead of the pack Wink
