Brean Sands

In May I'm going on a rugby tour to Burnham on Sea - the travel is laid on but I realise that the venue is very close to Brean Sands. Question, is it worth driving myself to have a play on Brean Sands? Are you allowed to drive on these sands or do normal laws apply (which I guess they do!) 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Looks like driving the sands is not an issue, least not in 93. Remember to take your knotted hankie & Thermos!!! Ner Ner Ner Ner

You can drive on Brean Sands but TBH it's not as much fun as Boughrood or a good green lane.....
I was there a month or so ago taking the hounds for a good long run and the driving is flat as they won't let you anywhere near the wet stuff and the dunes are well out of reach (unfortunately).
Personally if i had the option of driving there or someone laying on transport in which i can get well and truly trollied, then i'd be going for the chauffeur option.

And the sands (Mud!) are notorious for trapping cars so do not venture beyond the parking on the sand and eating sandwiches bit unless you want to test your insurance policy.

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

VA with your RRsport's history I think you might be tempting providence to take the car. Will there be semi naked girls around to clean it afterwards? If not I would leave the Sport at home and take the bus, avoiding the temptation to get stuck in the Somerset beach mud on a rising tide! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
