Polished 22'' stormer alloys

Hi there everyone im new to the forum so would just like to say hello.

im just waiting for the delivery of my rrs (about two weeks to go) and i want to change the alloys, i have seen the 22'' polished stormer alloys on ebay for around £1300 there are brand new but are replica's i believe, has anyone on here got a pair? how does the car drive with these? i understand that i will be a bit more bumpy. but i just want to make sure that the car would drive ok withe repilca stormers.

thanks for you help in advance Very Happy

Streetie welcome to the forums.
Be very careful running on replica wheels - these cars are very heavy (2.5 - 3.0 tonnes depending on load!) and high performance. The vehicle was not designed to run on 22" or bigger wheels and you could be invalidating your insurance, unless your car is a Kahn/Arden/Overfinch custom built car in which their 24" wheels are up to the job and tested to TUV standard!. Also bear in mind that several owners over on the Disco3 forums have had replica wheels fracture while in use....................
I would think at £1300 you should steer well clear of this "bargain" for your new Sport - for a decent reputable and tested brand you should be looking at spending well in excess of £3000 for a set of chromed alloys.

2.3 tons? I thought the base weight is 2.7. with some options, passengers and luggage you quickly have a 3 ton car.

Correction: HSE is 2.5 tons, SC is 2.6 curb weight. RRS SC Bonatti Grey
