Anyone had a TDV6 flat out?

Hello all,

Schoolboy curiosity prompts this question.
I understand the electronic limiter (programmed by the fun police)will prevent the speed exceeding 120mph.

I've had mine up to the limiter on a runway and can vouch for the 120 top end. BUT....

it pulls quite hard to 120 and is only about 3500 rpm.

Has anyone had one "proper" flat out , full banjo , chin on the tank???

Only asking..

Jay told me that he knows somebody who recently drove their TDv8 up the M4 at highly illegal speeds (but so was everybody else officer!) because he wasn't used to having sooooo much performance so easily accessed and tried to drive it the same way as he had to drive his old TDv6 when he wanted to pull out of a line of traffic to overtake....................... and it wasn't even trying. Based on Jay's friend's experience I would image 150 is quite believable. Wink Wink 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
