Wal-Mart strikes again! and I could not resist the low price on a Rear View Camera. So here are some pics and run-down on the installation:

Yes, I do have a GPS screen. I have not read anywhere that a camera can be hooked into it though. Are you going to tell me it can? I'd love it. . . . . Come for a visit, Victoria is beautiful! |

Well you are not alone. There is lots written questioning this, but no real answers that I can find. The nearest was on a Disco 3 forum: http://www.disco3.co.uk/dl/?WoodmanVideoGuide.pdf Has anyone tried Woodman's suggestion on a RRS for a rear view camera? (The "semi official US kit" is going to be $900 by the time I pay tax and shipping, rather than the $130 my job cost. Of course it would be better!) . . . . Come for a visit, Victoria is beautiful! |

Wouldn't you know it! I just had the camera installed for two days and they come out with a larger monitor - 3.5" rather than the original 2.5" (cheaper too at $112).

I used exactly the same kit and put it in my Defender for offroading. V. easy to do - if I can do it, anyone can. Picks up CCTV from security cameras as you pass by warehouses etc. Bigger screen would be better.

I have rear-view camera installed on mine. It uses navi screen and comes on when I put gear in reverse.
