Just a quick note to say to any doubters out there that I've owned my TDV6 for almost 1 year now and, surprisingly, I've had ZERO problems/issues with it, not even a squeak or a rattle. Everything works beautifully. Perhaps I'm just lucky but I get the impression that LR got this one right.

And mine... 26k, sold on, not a single issue. Well, they stuck the grab handles on the wrong way round, but aside from that

hmm, it had to be recovered when the wife drove it but it was exactly 8 km's after an engine management upgrade and apparently some spotty apprentice forgot to change a sensor, paint defects, EPB problem, the brake hose recall, a few trims replaced due to discolouring, new steering rack.. a set of saucepans, a cuddly toy

Guys.... I can't tell you how excited I am to get my RRS TDV8 next week. Especially after reading all your happy comments. I've been driving X5's since their inception, unfortunately my 2007 model has been an endless mare!! I've had it for 6 months and it has been in to the local dealer in Kimberley, 14 times for problems ranging from memory loss, handbreak disengement problems to navigation and Tire preasure monitor mal's...... to make my problem worse, I can't sell the cow unless I'm willing to lose R150k (About 10k Pounds)... I'm not bye the way, so seeing as I have no choice I will be passing the problem on to my Mrs. Poor woman!! for X5 for RRS |
