Depending on how a test drive goes later this week I will be selling my 07 TDV6 in the local Auto trader.

just in case anyone is interested I will be selling my OEM overfinch Super Sports with tyres, but of course I'll post it in the classifieds.

Just out of interest, what should I expect to get on a private sale, Its a Java / Ivory HSE, 2007 with 6000 miles, with TV, Side Steps and Privacy glass, 20" SC Wheels. ???

42-43k would be fair I'd say, might pinch a bit more if you threw in the Supersports.

I think Shmoogle's bang on the money, £41,995 is pitched about right. Think you'd get more selling the wheels on ebay, or indeed on here.  TDV8 HSE in Java/Ebony with Zebrano Wood, RSE, Hybrid TV, and a few other bells and whistles.

No way will you see that money for it now that another month has passed, I really struggled with mine and that thing had everything, dvd, ps2 the lot, sports exhaust.

Trouble is you can pick TDV8's up now under £50k and dealers are a wash with TDV6's and if you look on autotrader, well it's a buyer's market and believe me you will get loads of wasters offering you £30k for it.

Hope I'm wrong but I think you will be lucky if you see anything over £36k tops

KLM, yep you're (in my opinion wrong). RRS TDV6 is drying up both used and new, with TDV6 going through Brightwells at over book.

If you advertise a car you'll always get wasters, that's why lots of people part-exchange their cars, so as to avoid the aggro.

Trade value for this car assuming it's an 07/56 plate is just over £40k. TDV8 HSE in Java/Ebony with Zebrano Wood, RSE, Hybrid TV, and a few other bells and whistles.

Could be wrong but no dealer offers the book value and as for private buyers there are just to many cars out there for them to pick and choose and name their price.

The dealer has offerd me £39500 so its worth a week or 2 in the autotrader. The market is a little different here in N ireland. All we seem to have is imports but good used examples still get a fair price. I hate it when people mention the import they can get for £4000 less! Go away...

Hmm... there's brand new set on eBay at the moment due to close in half an hour currently bidding at £800. The ad infers that they're OEM (no mention of "style" or "replica"). If they go at £800, that's a steal given they're apparently new.
