AUX is a 3.5mm stereo minijack. The iPod audio jack is a 3.5mm stereo minijack. A male to male cable... and you are done. |

The iPOd Nano will fit beautifully in the top of the cubby box too. If you have PTI and a phone cradle on the underside of the cubby box lid, there is practically no room on the plastic tray to place your mp3 player.

I have the Nano and the male to male cable works. Another thought for you is the video iPod. I was able to get the sound through the factory speakers and the videos to show on the screens with an AV cable and an RCA adapter. |

I use something similar and I found that on long journeys you would have to retune the ipod because of station interuption. A real pain. I know use the rear sockets. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten 2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed. Tim, I've got the iTrip which does the same thing. In the south east to be honest there are too many FM signals, which interfere a bit much with it. When I don't get the interference it's fine. I've got a normal 20GB Ipod plus a Nano. Piece of cake to set up & use. I'd recommend them. I like the Ipod's but i guess the best thing to do is try a few different makes & see what you like. PS just like the tinting of front windows the FM transmitters are illegal in the UK!! HSE TD6 (Java Black/Ivory) 911GT3 (Guards Red, carbon interior) ElanSE (BRG) Panamera Turbo S Boxster S |

How nice to have an overcrowded FM waveband - up here once you are north of Perth and away from the towns you cannot get anything but crackles on FM!
