I know forum member RRUK had his SC Supaguarded and rates it quite highly. He's also seriously into cleaning his car - his process is posted on here somewhere and there are some 8000-odd steps A colleague of mine had his VW Lifeshined at this supplying dealer and it was "dead-dull" within 6 months. Not sure if that was the products fault (I believe it's Autoglym) or whether it was just a bad job by dealer's valeters.

I read Docs post and he had his done by a local valeting company here in Liverpool. I think it cost about £150.

Dealer's fleece you on this kind of stuff... seems you can go to a reseller and have a large 4x4 done for well under £300. I suppose you're paying the extra with Supaguard to relieve yourself of all those weekends polishing your car, which you still need to do with Lifeshine....

Buy the stuff on eBay and do it yourself. I got a complete kit for £19 and was the same stuff that my LR dealer offered. Well worth saving £300 even if it does take up most of a Sunday!! Matt

I wouldn't bother with either - never have - waste of money - just more dealer proffits - never lost anymore by not having come trade in time either !
