2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey
New Small Landie

Was in several dealers yesterday and each one handed me an A5 sized photo with a very blurred photo of a 3 door
mini RRS style "sports" Land Rover on it - the same pic as was in the motoring press recently and very similar to the heavily disguised car I saw on the M40 bewteen Solihull and Gaydon in June. I followed it of the m'way and off towards the Gaydon facility where it disappeared into the developement centre while I went to the Motor Heritage Centre. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Short bonnet though. Will look great in the way that the Infinity's do, but with Land Rover looks. No better way to sell a car company than to have some hot new product in the offing.

Lets see if they can build it light and therefore fuel economical. 2022 P440e AB

Paulo, just like Ford got the ready to roll FFRR when BM sold out to them.................................. I think the roof line is too sloping for my liking, looks like there would be next to no rear headroom, but who buys a coupe for interior space Mr. Green Could this be LR's answer to the BM X6? Hence the sudden rush of activity. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Could be, be very Niche....That said, I would have bought the Concept Stormer if they built it (when I didn't have a daughter). So could work well for the 20's and 40's age group. Maybe not too Niche.... 2022 P440e AB

If they do make it I hope it places below the Freelander. With no 3 door Freelander it would be an ideal 1st step into LR ownership. Makes me wish I could have afforded to keep our old 3dr Freelander Sport as well as the RRS

Whatever it turns into, it won't be cheap.... I wonder when it will see the light of day? There usually only a brand new LR model once every ice age (with the last one being the RRS and that was only 2.5 yrs ago).

And the D3 which as in effect a whole new model only 15 months before the RRS and the FFRRMk3 2 years before that, I don't think LR are hanging arround. They are on a roll at the moment and can sell every car they make, especially in the oh so important overseas markets.
I have have heard that the mini LR will be Freelander based, what I saw was a mule but looked just like an RRS from the front so maybe it will be short and wide Thumbs Up with a tapering behind. When you compare F2 and RRS the F2 is 1cm wider than an RRS!
From the brochures F2 mirrors out 2180mm, mirrors in 2005mm, RRS is 2170 and 1983mm! you wouldn't think so when you see them out in the flesh though and there is also only 80mm height difference between them with the RRS in normal suspension height.

Could this be Range Stormer in the flesh I ask - just imagine a TDv8 or S/C in a small light body, it might be expensive but it would certainly be able to blow any baby SUV from BM, VW or anybody else into the weeds AND drive all over them with its TR and air suspension systems. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Yep, certainly something to look forward to! Thumbs Up

What I was meaning when I said about a new model every ice age was a whole new addition to the range. When the D3 came along there was already a Disco... the RRS was brand new and as will this be Very Happy
