Dont you have to use "Testbook" and lock the suspension same as when you get the 4 wheel alignment done? Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh

MVS said it was somewhat of a task getting some accurate figures, but I presume it is all do-able...

I am afraid at the moment, we don't have the use of Test book, or a IDS but we are look at buying a IDS in the not to distant future, due to the fact we need one to do the new focus ST' s. Maybe then we can do another power run, but this does not still solve the problem on the kick down when full throttle is applied.

You lock the suspension with IDS as mentioned. As for the kick down we are working at the min on overiding it for the power run. As for the straps, there is no point. It has no inertia pushing the weight of the car so if it jumps out it stops there. The straps are better used on high power light weight cars over 100mph when they start to rise out of the rollers. or race cars re-built from right-offs that are not quite straight, especially the front wheel drive ones.
