I don't feel we have really received the full blown, mildy exaggerated, moderately dramatised and 100% complete story on this "vehicle drowning" episode. I feel we deserve more (with pictures !). Come on VA, share this experience with your on - line mates .... please.

We need a begining, middle and end, we need a time and a place, we need to know what went wrong, who cocked up, and how. We need to know how it felt, what was said, who did what, who helped, who hindered.... and we need to capture the lessons learn't, the actions to avoid and places to steer clear of. Then we need to speculate what we would have done differently, how it couldn't happen to us, how much it cost and what will the lasting impact on the car, insurance premiums and reputation be in future.

Still surprised that they did not write your car off VA, a friends car got submerged in the recent floods and his insurance company just wrote it off as they said the interior was damaged and they had no way of knowing if any water had got into the engine (the car did still run and sounded ok).

VA, did you park next to Putney bridge on the sth bank? There is a small street with free parking there but the problem is that it is very easily flooded. Got a friend working next to it and she can see almost weekly some cars under water! Range Rover Vogue ‘17 TDV6
