Pass it most evenings - they get a lot of ex demo cars there. I noticed a RRS there on Friday with the dreaded VX prefix! I'll see if I can look at it on Monday evening.

Just talking to a friend of mine with a D3 on a BJ06 plate - never had a problem with it and it's black so not an ex experience car. Sometimes worth googling the plate, I did on RRS I was interested in and found out all sorts about it. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

2013 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Zermatt Silver

full plate is BJ55PHY - google only comes up with the sales advert

They only have 2 supercharged RRS in stock at mo, and originally was in that line of cars outside on the main forecourt

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Arctic Frost

The BJ pre fix is a Birmingham plate, so it could have been a drug dealer / gangster's run around. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

Dealer said it came to them direct from land rover. Plus, the windows aren't tinted, so cant possibly have been a dealers!

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Arctic Frost

The drug dealer refference was a bit tongue in cheek, but Solihull is classed as Birmingham as far as registration prefixes go so they could be right. Thumbs Up Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Looks like im in the clear, or atleast, something to fall back on should it not be the case. Email from the dealer below

"Just with regard to the history of the car, it was definitely not a Land Rover Experience car. The centres never run Supercharged Range Rover Sports and once the cars are finished with they are sold off at auction, we don’t tend to touch them. Your car was part of Land Rover’s own fleet and would have been driven by an employee at Land Rover HQ. It would have been someone quite high up the food chain! Although the car is sold as a demonstrator it would not have done any demonstration work, as such I reckon this is one of the best previous keepers of this type of car and we like sourcing cars from Land Rover HQ"

You are probably alright, but these could also be press cars and if that's the case they can still be thrashed. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

£5k more though, also had a couple of small scrapes on it

'my' one does have a few stone chips down the sides but all being fixed prior to collection. The Blue one had a weird vertical crease in the rear bumper

All in, im happy with it. Im sure it will have teething problems as all new cars (atleast new to me) do but taking comfort from having bought from the dealer

Experience with the Porsche has been great. It had problems, sure, but all covered under the warranty and all in will miss it. But practically has to come in eventually in my life!

With the reply that you have got from the dealer you should be ok, still check the underside as VA says to make sure it has not been used as a press demo car or something similar.
As the dealer says it really works out about the same 'risk' as a demo.

Good luck, I am sure you will enjoy it Thumbs Up
