2006 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Java Black

SATNAV Disks on delivery

When I collected my 06MY HSE TDV6 from the dealer the only disk I received was the disk in the SATNAV unit under the seat. I didn't know any different.

When they subsequently loaned me a new Freelander I saw a DVD box disk set in the glove box, I think there were actually two boxes of two disks.

So I started to think, why didn't I get this pack with my SATNAV system and what do these other disks do?

Am I alone in thinking that the stealer has disks or a pack belonging to me which should have been delivered with the car?

Comments please, what was your experience? It's finally gone! Replaced with BMW 730SE in Sophisto grey Xirallic finish with Oyster (Ivory) and black interior. DAB, Climate glass, Ceramic iDrive and gear selector, power boot and iPhone Bluetooth pack - luvvin' it!

I miss my old RRS "bucket" rattling around but it just had to go!

Not from what I remember... you got one DVD pre-installed by the dealer into the underseat unit and that was all that was necessary. Not sure what other DVDs were in the pack you saw in the Freelander - deleted scenes and a documentary about how they made it?

Calm down Peter, you only get one Satnav disc per vehicle. Which is region specific.

The disc's you found in the Freelander loan vehicle must have been a set of disc's the dealer uses for diagnostic purposes. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

The fact that the FL2 might have more than one disc. Not sure it does but it is a possible reason. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
