When was the last time you used public transport?

I've realised that in the last 10 years I have only taken public transport once - a train to London so that I could get drunk! I am excluding the London to Paris train thingy as I doubt the public really use this.

When was the last time you used public transport and surely it would be cheaper to get rid of it and buy all the benefit class a car! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

wifey just told me we have a bus once a week to get to Bridgnorth - it stops just over a mile from our house - we can catch it a 10am and it returns at 2pm - apparently if we have a lot of shopping the driver will take you right to your house on the way home, which is nice, but basically public transport doesn't exist where we live

we have a post bus at work, the post man collects the mail and passengers and as long as they are not in a hurry they eventually get to where they want to go to, after posty has visited every post box on route. Rolling Eyes no regrets!

United States 2007 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Buckingham Blue

I live in Houston where the car is king .... the local metro bus service is well not a good idea to get onboard and doesnt go anywhere I need to go anyway.... downtown has a light rail system but no idea where it goes and is 20 miles from home just to get on it.

So in Houston never used public transport..... before that in Stavanger, Norway... good service and given Norways strick drink and drive rules always needed on a weekend. Brit across the Pond Wink

Hadn't been on a train for well over 20 years until 2 weeks ago when I went to collect my TDV8. So first class on the Virgin pendolino or whatever its called, to Brum. Served with a cooked breakfast and numerous coffees on route inclusive of the cost of the ticket. My things have improved since the last time I travelled by train. Thumbs Up
Then a local train to Ledbury. TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Arctic Frost

Well, if you can't count Cross Channel Ferries, Spanish Trains or the Barcelona Metro I'm struggling to remember.

I used to catch the local train or bus service into Birmingham when going on the lash with work colleagues, but since the wife passed her test she drops me off and collects me when I can't stand up anymore.

Does a tram on Blackpool sea front count? I can remember going on them once. Confused Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.
