How rubbish am I!

Jesus, I have just come in as it is too dark to carry on, having fitted 3 mudflaps inan hour and a half and I look more like I have had a couple of engines in and out! My wife says its a good job I am not a mechanic!

1. The instructions ae w Censored k!

2. The side I started on - rear drivers side - had the middle fixing missing - dont know why or how, but it threw me for about 30 minutes until I went and had a look at the other side - DOH!

3. Things went well then for a while - I even managed to cope with cutting the trim to fit the front ones but it went pear shaped when I had to screw those self tappers in. F Censored k me! - You need hands the size of a 6 month old baby with tools to match but the power of the hulk to snap the ba Censored rds into the fittings!

Anyway, it looks quite smart and I will attempt the final one tomorrow - I will just look a bit of a plonker going to work with only the 3 done! Very Happy Best Wishes

Gary

This may sound like a stupid question, but did you remove the wheels before fitting the mudflaps?

By removing the wheels you get better access and can use bigger tools. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

No TB, I left the wheels on - I knew it would be easier with them off but didnt fancy it and was sure I had read a thread or seen pictures on here of someone fitting them with the wheels still on.

Just off out now to fit the last one - fingers crossed! Best Wishes

Gary
