Removing rear lights

I guess its pretty much the same for the Sport as the FFRR, does anyone have a quick-tips guide to removing and replacing a rear light unit? Is it accessed from inside the car from behind the trim panel or is it a screwdriver down the side of the light job?

For the RRS.
When you open the tailgate you see 2 cross screws inboard of the tail light, you remove those then carefully pull the light aft. You might help it a bit with a plastic spatula on the outboard side(careful not to damage the paint) the first time they are quite hard to pull. '08 RRS TDV8
I converted my diesel RRS to run on an environmentally friendly mixture of caribou fat and baby seals oil

Good answer. Thumbs Up When I installed my rear lamp guards, this is exactly how I did it. The outboard side of the light has two plugs that pop in and out, and yes, they are quite sticky the first time you pull them out. I needed the assistance of a plastic screwdriver to help pop them out. 2006 Bonatti Grey HSE; Ebony Lux Package; Bluetooth; Sat Radio; Rails & Crossbars; Mudflaps; Nitto TerraG's; Matt. 6:33
