Change FL2 to RRS

Thinking of changes my 07 56reg FL2 GS 2.2TD4 for a RRS, do you think this is a smart move.

Few people have said there are issues with the RRS, mainly suspension and electronics, this doesn't put me off and really like the look of the RRS, just not sure how much better (£18K better) the RRS is?

Also not sure whether to get a used SE/HSE or a new S with leather, reverse sensor, metallic.

The other query is why if you add all the differences up between an S to SE or S to HSE does it work out cheaper to buy the S and spec it up. I know that come resale the SE or HSE will be worth more by why do LR set the retail prices so high....or is it because they can.

RRS is the way to go. Get a 2nd hand SE or HSE you'll be disappointed with a S. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Definitely.... out of interest why did you go with the FL2 in the first place? The RRS is obviously quite a different prospect Very Happy

2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

Just got pay rise myself and wife has secured a full time position having only been on a temporary reduced contract.

Really like the RRS, had a drive today and viewed a 56 reg 2.7D HSE, black, privacy, 20" wheels, steps. Few minor scratches which will machine out by garage but other than that it is the business.

Felt quite heavy and ponderous when setting off but when used to it, it felt fine. Well had just jumped from my Golf GTi 2.0 TFSi Twisted Evil
