I notice you've got an 06 HSE so it'll have PTI, so the only 'kit' you'll need to buy is the cradle (depending on whether your phone is supported), then all you need to do is clip it on. It really isn't a job for the dealers, but if you can't manage it yourself I'm sure they'd help you.

Then the phone should work via the cradle. Go onto www.landrover.co.uk and download the compatibility pdf to check what functionality you'll get.

From 2008.5 model the cradle option is being deleted as it is virtually impossible to keep up with all the new phones being launched. Instead the system has been improved to download addressbooks etc to the car.

All very complicated I'm sure! Thumbs Up TDV8 HSE in Java/Ebony with Zebrano Wood, RSE, Hybrid TV, and a few other bells and whistles.

If it's not supported then either it's not compatible or it's a later phone that's not been approved. If they don't do a cradle for it then you're knackered from that point of view. But if it's a bluetooth phone and it's not listed then just try it and see how you get on. I've always had Nokia's and they've all worked via bluetooth, except for one (6111) which cut out after 30 secs or so into the call for some reason. A friend has the new N95 or whatever it is which doesn't work, however someone else he knows has one and it works in theirs!

It's all smoke, mirrors and a black art. Mys advice................ TRIAL and ERROR! Wink TDV8 HSE in Java/Ebony with Zebrano Wood, RSE, Hybrid TV, and a few other bells and whistles.
