Aux socket

Does anyone else get "feedback" if they plug anything into the AUX socket in the centre box? I get it if I even put a cable in and I've tried a few. Suppose another thing wrong to take back to the dealer......

Many are using it fine... works well.

The only flaw is that the head unit has no relative volume control on AUX, so you will go deaf if the Navigation voice pops on or you switch audio sources... since many devices will require higher than usual volume.

The volume is too low with most devices' maximum volume, so you need to jack the volume up on the head unit far higher than usual. (The head unit should offer an AUX specific volume offset so you can match levels.)
