What is it with the f'ing Beckhams?

Over the las day we have had the news reporting on their impending departure, when they've got on the plane, their arrival in the US and what they've had for bloody lunch. - DO WE CARE! I'm just glad they've p Censored d off to the states - a country that is very unforgiving to idiots. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.

Glad to see you have your priorities right over there. Shocked
In the same week you got rid of Posh and Churchill.
It gives me no joy that both our countries have gone mad.

Churchill was an old and fat cigar smoking stuck up Censored. (Although he did have good taste in cigars and scotch). Its a bit like learning shakespear now when he lived hundreds of years ago. How does that help in modern life.
I'm going for a job interview :
"So Sir, what do you have to offer us?"
"Nothing...BUT I studied Shakspear"
"Well!!! You've got the job if you've studied shakespear" Rolling Eyes

History is all very well learning about, its interesting...but some of these people I think the british schooling system just needs to put to bed. I should know...I had to sit through 2 tormenting years of "Shakspar". Michael Potter

Did you learn about Shakespeare the man and his life or were you forced to study his writings ? There is a difference !
Whilst you may not respect 'Churchill' the man, would it be relevant, in these current times, to study his deeds? You say not !
Most of us are not yet angry or outraged enough to take action against the current destroyers of our society. George Santayana said (and this is often mis-quoted ) "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it,"
VA is correct in denouncing the endless stream of meaningless drivel that floods our media.
Its' carefully crafted purpose is solely to distract the population from the real issues.
(sorry ENVOY........I am agreeing with VA )
