Gary - I haven't mounted any shackles, use the standard RRS recovery points.

Each to their own but all of this stuff can be reversed if I ever want to. I for one love the look and I get a huge amount of positive comments from people in the street and on this forum.

I think it's a cool look VA but also a brave move to do that amount to the RRS Thumbs Up

With regard to the reversal of the bits, how will you overcome the holes drilled for the RAI ??

VA,

I'd like to buy the Expedition rack but my dealer has no rack in stock and I cannot take any measurements. I am interested to know the internal width and lenght since I'd like to transport two mountain bikes on the rack, among other things. And a setup with a non LR tow ball bike carrier is not my cup of tea.

Thanks for your help!

Roland - the rack is 115cm wide at its narrowest and 120cm long. There is a bar at the back of the rack which restricts the length but I'm sure there are ways of around this. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.
