United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 S Java Black
Wanted - Leather Seats for my base spec 'S'

Hi, Does anyone know where I might find a set of seats for an RRS. A friend of mine suggested that Land Rover (Gaydon) may use a local firm for disposal of test car components... Otherwise, does anyone know of a breaker that may have a donor car?

You may ask why I bought a car with cloth seats, but at the time it was more about speed of delivery than anything else!

Thanks in advance
Andrew

Probably cheaper and easier to trade yours in for one with leather! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Or get your existing seats recovered in leather.

It would cost about £1,200 and the finish is very good. We looked in to doing this on a D3 S spec and nearly did it. But then the dealer offered us such a good offer to swap for an HSE that we took that option instead. Can't quite remember the name of the comany that the dealer put us on to, but they were in Coventry. Our dealer had used them a number of times and had always had happy customers.

Or you could buy Land Rover seat covers - and no one will be any the wiser...... RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

There is a company called Exmoor Trim that supplies original equipment seats and fabrics to LR for most models, they also sell the same items to the public. I haven't seen sets of RRS seats advertised in their ads in the Land Rover magazines yet but that doesn't mean they don't sell them to the public. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

An associate at work took one look at my RRS and pointed out that the electric leather front seats were identical to the seats fitted in his three year old Volvo (and some of the switchgear is the same). Whilst this doesn't solve the rear seat issue it may help with the fronts. I guess the mounting subframes may also be different but its worth a look.

We have just supplied an 's' model and had the seats re-trimmed by a local company. It was a bit costly for us cos we took the hit for the chap to develope his patterns. I'll try and find some more info for ya tomorrow. Thumbs Up
