Just after a bit of advise please.

I was trying to hold out until Disco_Mikey ran another group buy on the IID tool, but I had my suspension warning light come on last night.

Im probably going to buy one from LR Direct. Just wanted to know, and seem to remember that although they are old Brit Part stock, the firmware can be updated as soon as I get it?

As far as I can remember, once you register the IID tool, you can then update the firmware  2006 4.2 Supercharged Buckingham blue
2003 BMW X5 4.6is Estoril blue
2006 Yamaha FZ6

Island 4x4 used to be cheapest place to buy them, although wouldn't know currently. If I remember correctly you get free firmware updates for the first 12 month's from registration.

The cheapest I've found it was on LR direct.

I was just concerned about it being old stock, but you guys have put my mind at rest so just ordered it!.

No doubt I'll be badgering you all once I've got and trying to work out how to use it, and trying to figure out what's wrong with the car!

As above, tools are identical, just rebranded

Once the firmware has been updated to the latest version, it functions exactly the same way as the newest ones

Don't fancy a trip to Kent to do a Gearbox flush do you

Tried to buy one of these from LR Direct yesterday and could not get the web page to work.
It let me put it in my basket but would not completed the payment - just tells me I have not selected a delivery option.
Tried changing address and a few other things but no luck.
Had a look this morning and it was just the same.

Might just be me  Lot of Landcruisers now sold

Yeah I sent him a message back in November as soon as I bought the car, but didn't get a reply.

I was going to chase him, but found out from the Disco site he currently unavailable.

When he's back up and running I'll ask him again.

Phoned LRDirect this morning and as usual it is just me or should I say my account.
They were going to have a look into it and email me when they get it fixed.

I was surprised though that they can not take card payments over the phone.

I'm surprised they can't take payment over the phone as well.

Can't wait to get mine, as the front of the car won't rise out of access mode now so can't use it!

No contact from them yet, I called them at 8.30 this morning as they had a look at my account but could not fix it.
I have bought lots of bits from them for my Defender with no problems.
Just checked the site again and it's still the same.
Also tried two different computers and my iPad and they are all the same.
Just hope they get it sorted soon.

Glad to say I have now got this fixed and order has been placed.
