They had that on Nat Geo last week here, rather them than me! the pilot was saying that he looked after 4 teams and he leap-frogged them along the powerline it kept him busy all day. lots of skill and courage there. In the highlands in Scotland I know they use helicopters with thermal imaging to check the lines for hot spots as that can show up weak spots in the lines. |
