I have just swapped my Nokia 6230 for a Nokoa 6100 and the phone works better with the phone system. It used the same cradle and ALL the functions can be used including the dashboard on/off button. I bought the 6100 for under £30.00 from ebay and considering the problem I had with the 6230 I'm happy. My advise is to get the cradle, get the 6100 and a dual sim card from your service provider and all systems are go! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

RRUK According to the Landrover approved phone list this function isn't available on the 6230 using software v 5.35 which my phone was using. The on/off didn't work on my old 6230. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten 2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.
