England 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Fuji White

Dont know what your spec is but I have 22" alloys and had to gt them rebalanced twice. Must admit, sometimes I get a bit of vibration accelerating between 60 and 70 but its not a balancing issue as when you are not accelerating it doesnt vibrate. Mine is a 57 plate txv8.

Malaysia 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Chawton White

I am sure the dealers would have checked against a bulletin issued early this year which addresses the issue of the steering wheel vibrating at 50-70 mph, however, no harm checking if they've considered it...

And here's a copy..

So a couple of weeks ago i grabbed some"A" team style stunt action, and just like in the programme i walked away undamaged.

Steering problem now seems less of a problem! Rolling Eyes

That looks vaguely familiar, its not near Barlow is it?
I guess you did the same as my wife in the Disco, bit of a snake on after the bend in the distance and then it just popped over?

EDIT:
Just looking at the nearside wheel it looks like something snapped,is that what caused the roll?
The kerbs look really low and unlikely to have broken anything by impact.

Hi,

I aqua planed across the corner at the back of the picture and mounted the dry stone wall with my near side wheel. This flipped me over - the car is an SE so wondering if the DSC on the HSE would have prevented this. Views? Just about to order my new one.....

I have exactly the same problem of vibration at 1750 rpm which is worse with a small amount of steering angle at lower speeds. I am not sure wether to live with it or try and chase the fix.

Hi, Picked up my 08 spec RRS last week and very disappointed that there is vibration in the steering when the car is under acceleration. My supplying dealer has had the car in 2 days and says "we sometimes get them like this and don't know what it is". As you can imagine I am greatly annoyed and have requested someone from Land Rover HQ comes out to look at my car. This really feels like a a drive shaft issue - anyone out there had something simliar?

Corben, take a look at ; http://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/post104842.html#104842

I had my front diff replaced because of vibrations through the steering wheel....worn front diffs are quite well known in the FFRR's and I suspect RRS will also have some probs RRS TDV6 Bluetooth, VR, Roof

hi Lateral5
I remember following this post but it became a bit confused between shimmy and vibration. It definitely feels like a diff issue on my car as it all has to do with load and steering angle. Which dealer did the diff replacement?

I doubt DSC would have made much if any difference.

Big heavy car. So once it goes, I'm afraid the weight would accelerate it into a spin at the very least and it probably would have stayed upright if it wasn't for the stone wall being there. TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone
