Another Network Issue!

You clever chaps helped me sort my wireless network which is working well Thumbs Up I am now wanting to be able to use my new HP printer (CM1017 MFP) with my desktop and laptop. It has an ethernet connection and is currently connected to my desktop by USB. Is there any way I can use the wireless network to enable my laptop to use it, or failing that anyway I can have it wired to both computers?

You need to connect the printer to your router with the a network lead i think that is a start

Then you need to right click on the printer icon and select share then look for it on the lap top in the printer menu RRS TDV6 Gone but still around

Couple of ways to do it, both require you to connect it up to your router with network cable as Jay said.

1. You can "share" the printer out across the network from your PC using the built-in Windows functionality - instructions here.

2. Secondly, config the printer to advertise itself on the network so you print directly to the printer. How you do this is down to the config on the printer itself - I'm not familiar with your printer, Pelyma - but my HP 8450 came with a wizard that you ran from the PC which set it all up for you..... sorry I can't be more specific.
