Yeah Smile

Next question - what mats are standard in the RRS? I'm sure this one had thick rubber ones with what looked like metal edging to them...

Oh, and wouldn't I be very cheeky if I told them to leave the wired in Road Angel in?

The standard mats are the carpet ones, which are all very well until you put your feet on them and ruin them... the rubber ones with the metal corners not only look smart but are the most practical too - you just hose them down and go.

You're not telling me they're going to deinstall the Road Angel? Shocked

They can bloody well leave the RA and the mats then. In fact I think I'll pop to the dealer this afternoon to "look around" and tell him, aside from a valet, I'll buy it "as it stands", and make a fuss if he takes anything out Smile

Quick look on Ebay tells me the mats are £70+

Definitely need the rubber boot mat (which wasn't in there) providing I can still use the cargo hooks.

I think I must have found a dealer with:

a) a slow month
b) a dealer principle desperate for a new car
c) the intelligence to realise I would just walk without a proper deal

I did want the unregistered one in their depot, but unfortunately so did their dealer principle... but that has given rise to a good value deal on the ex-demo.

Just confirmed the car and the salesman will be there later, so I'll head up after work and see what I can thrash out Smile
