OK - so I decided to go for aftermarket tinting. The company that will do it is a leading one here in Oslo and a few friends of mine have done their cars (not RRS's) with with this company wiith great results. I was, however, warned that the small black spots (cirrcles) that appear on the outer part of the glass on the three rear windows may give airbubbles. This gives me second thoughts.

Here in the US (at least in Texas) most trucks come with the Privacy Glass as standard, I have had it on my previous LR3 and now on the RRS, apart from giving would be thieves a harder time and cutting out some of the suns rays it just looks cool. I like the way the dark tint blends with the Buckingham Blue of the body. now if I can figure out how to add some pics then you can see what I mean.

Oops sorry ..... nearly 3.5 years living in the US and now I am saying TRUCK (I will just blame it on the wife as she keeps correcting me the other way...). Your right trucks should have 18 wheels and try to haul gravel or stuff round the M25....
