2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Welcome and your car could be a unique one on this forum - don't think we have any other Atacama Sand RRS's so please post some photos whenit is delivered - I'm not sure that colour coding even the bit you are going to do will look right with Atacama. Might be worth delaying the dealer doing it and then trying only the bases of the doors or the mirror cowls 1st. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

yay! glad to be different Smile will definitely post some pics once i've picked it up..

at the mo, the colour coding i've asked for are: front and rear bumpers, sideskirts, mirror cowls and the little bits such as washer jets... They havent done it yet so might take in your thoughts, thanks... However, I definitely dont want to colour code everything as it'll look abit weird..

Probably gonna add the sidesteps as well...

Ok, the car's pretty much ready for collection.. they're just finishing up on the colour coding (yes, bit the bullet and went for it - front, sides and rear) and the final paperwork..

Should pick it up by Friday Very Happy

Will post pics once I get it home and put on the clear side repeaters..

Atacama's not one of my favourite colours, but I am looking fwd to seeing the pics. Sometimes colour coding can bring surprising results... there are a couple of HSTs around that have had some colouring work done which makes them look slightly less disgusting than before... Very Happy

Thanks Kaine, java is pretty common down these parts (along with white obviously), but with temperatures soaring to over 50 degrees C in the summer, and the dust, I cant imagine it being much fun..

So spoke to the dealer a minute ago, he says the paint work is complete Neutral , just gonna have it polished tomorrow and get the registration on.. so hopefully will get it in the evening for the weekend.. cue a very nervous chap in Bahrain tonight!

Ok guys, picked up the RRSS yesterday evening Very Happy Very Happy

The colour looks amazing! they've done a real good job.. will post pics later today when I have time..

Because of the tinting, I've been told not to open the windows for a week, and have to go back to them after for an inspection to validate the 10 year warranty.

But the best thing is when I went to pick it up and complete the paperwork, the salesman informed me that the car actually already had the Hybrid TV installed, but they didnt know until yesterday! so as an added bonus, I've now got that option FOC Very Happy

Today's task: putting on the clear side repeaters I've got sitting in my living room, and skimming through the manual..

Thanks all,

Sarin
