PH have a list of the top 10 and bottom 5 driving roads in the UK:

How many of the best roads have you driven?

I think I've only done the A87 and A35 Confused

I have driven Snakes Pass 3 OR 4 times in the GT3 AND once in the R8 and can confirm it is an awesome road with a great pub halfway Mr. Green

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

I've done all of the last 5 except no7........................... we nearly didn't get the A817 Loch Lomond to Garelochead road because it was originally a private road built by the MOD when the Faslane Submarine base was being rebuilt to keep the construction traffic off the public roads and the protesters at the peace camp away. The deal was that once the base was completed the land-owner would be re-inbursed for the use of his land and the road demolished (bear in mind that it cost several £100 million to built it in the first place!) and no signs that the road had ever been there would be allowed............................ however when the road was opened up to allow the public to bypass some roadworks on the public road there was an out cry - it is a fantastic road - wide enough for 2 huge MOD lowloaders to pass with room to spare between them so both it's 2 lanes are basically 2 lanes wide, it has sweeping bends and some fantastic blind dips and summits. It might be "technical" in a Caterham but it is great fun almost flat out in an RRS TDv8!

England 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 S Stornoway Grey

Done most of the top 10, although i'd have the a686 higher as I really like it across the full Penrith - Hexam, the Alston stage is great, but just something about that road works for me.
