OK, the owner purchased those pedals from a Rinspeed distributor here in Southern California (down the street from my work, actually), called Status Auto Design. They cost about US$900, what's that, 6 or 7 British pounds these days? Are they really any better than the rubber LR originals - I bet they're less practical too

Exactly my point = ie. on a Wet day ...... slippery shoe/foot slips of my fighterbombers " wow .... slow down " pedal & already heading towards mach 3 ......... now heading for mach 4 as foot hits the "warp factor 5 please Scotty " pedal

Actually, I was just making a joke about the word "practical" being mentioned by someone driving a car that 90% of the press and public out there considers highly impractical... I agree with you on the usefulness of those pedals. |
