As far as I am aware of Germany is the only market with a particle filter for the TDV6 (reasons are road tax issues and similar tree hugger crap). However it's a so-called open system and not factory fitted and therefore not exactly what you want.

The engine seems to have a lot in common with the one used in Peugeot 607 HDI and Citroen C6 HDI too. PSA group have supplied particle filters with their cars for a long time. Sweden has a lot in common with Germany, for example CO2 from a diesel car is 3.5 times as dangerous as CO2 from a gasoline car. At least when it comes to taxes. Cars with particle filters will likely get lower taxes next year, and that means the money will have to come from someone else, likely the guy driving the car without a filter... Regards, Bontempi |
