United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Firenze Red
Service Intervals of L461 P460e

Car is 6 months old and just past 10k miles and its telling me it needs a full service.

Seems... unusual.

Any one any thoughts or experience?

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Siberian Silver

My P440E gave me the service warning at 22 Months and around 19,000 miles. My driving in that car was a mix of local on electric and trips around the South of England on motorways, main roads etc in hybrid mode. Nothing arduous.

I have only just got my new P460E, so time will tell if it covers a similar distance before the service warning comes up. Its quoted as a 2 year service interval.

I think the petrol engines on the P440E and P460E are identical. Happy to be corrected if someone knows any differences. RRS Autobiography P460E

Hi,

24MY Sports are 12m/10,500ml service intervals - so you are due a service based on mileage!

10500 service interval? Wow, that's a step back in time. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I don't get how the my23 and 25 models are every 2 years and the my24 is every year? How the feck does that make any sense

I totally agree! Mine is due for it's first 12 months service in June so I'll question it then, but it seems like it was purely a financial decision in 24 rather than actually necessary.

Audi did the same to my '21 SQ7. It was 2 year intervals when I bought the car new, but then 2yrs later I received a letter to say they'd decided that it should be 1 year without explanation. I smell bullsh*t. 2024 RRS L461 P460e AB

Blowed if I know - and my dealer is also mystified.

It says “12month servicing” on my Vista build sheet for my 24MY so I’m as stuffed as you!

I could understand an oil change in Yr 1,3,5 etc and a full service with brake fluid, air and fuel filters in yrs 2,4,6 etc but it’s the same service schedule as SWMBO’s D250 Defender, just shunted up!!!
