Timing Belt change?

2006 Sport. Timing belt changed 45,000 miles ago and that was 8 year ago. My understanding is that it should be change every 7 years or 100,000 miles - which ever come first. So what should I do....seeing as though I am only doing well under the milage, leave it for a year to two? Or change the belt now? The car is serviced every year, oil changes etc. Andrew Kennedy

You have answered your own question 7 years or 100000miles whatever comes first
It's there for a reason. Rubber perishes with age
Leave it & no doubt you'll be back on here saying your engine is Censored what will I do?
