AA Question…

Does anyone know if the AA replace injectors? I’ve got an injector leak that started to happen on the drive to Manchester airport - usual chuff chuff noise coming from passenger side of engine.

Cars parked up in the airport car park now until the 24th Feb so I was thinking upon picking the car up would the AA come out and diagnose/replace the faulty injector / washer / O ring and would they charge for this?

I'd be surprised if they would replace it "on the side of the road" if only because they'd be unlikely to have the correct parts on the van. And if you said to them "this is the issue, please bring parts", they'd probably say "sod off, thanks". You could always ask them and see what they say. Be useful to know if it's something they would do. Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I’ve seen a few links including - https://www.theaa.com/about-us/newsroom/in...placements

Obviously I’d say “I think” it’s the injectors wink wink nudge nudge

Petty sure they would not. It's a breakdown service, not a full blown workshop. Best they would do is take you to a garage, but as your car runs they would tell you where the nearest garage is.
Where would it end. Oh, Thumbs Up Mr AA man, my crankshaft is broken, surly you can fix it Range Rover Sport (gone): Mercedes S63 AMG Coupe: 992 Porsche Carrera 4S: Range Rover Fifty P400e
