Sdv6 gen1 swap for gen2. Engine swap. Injector information.

Hi I'm new to the site and was wondering if any of you guys may be able to enlighten me. After scouring the internet for information on the differences between the gen1 and gen2 engines I come across a thread on the land rover forum which has already answered some of the questions I had. I'm now just wondering if it would be possible to use the injectors that are in the gen2 in conjunction with gen1 software. The reason I have these questions is that i have a rrs 2014 which has spun a shell i have an engine from a 2016 rrs. I've dropped my engine out have found the 2 sensors (water pump, oil pump) which my gen1 engine doesnt have, differences in egr and turbo water feed pipe on the right bank but other than that and the starter key lead being different that was all I found, so today rang a jlr engine specialist seeking information/advice regarding these two sensors and whether I'd be able to swap them out for a gen 1 oil and water pump for them to inform me the engines were completely different and the only things they shared in common were the oil filter and timing belt.. so the guy I was speaking to then proceeded to offer me a swap, I give them the gen2 engine I have purchased they will take my engine and rebuild it. I said I'd call them back. Now here's the killer I bought the car just over 16 months ago with a damaged engine for a very good price! I sent the car to a so called jlr engine specialist where they took the engine out, stripped it down found it had snapped the crank and damaged the block so sourced the parts and rebuilt my engine at a cost of £4600 now this wasnt a issue as there was still lots of +monies left if I decided to sell the car on but yo be honest I drove it and fell in love with her. She in santorini black, blacked out windows, black 22inch alloys I just had the biggest smile everytime I drove it. So I did an oil change 500 miles after the rebuild and proceeded to do an oil and filter change every 3k miles. I got a total of 11000 miles out of her when one afternoon driving to a motor factors to pick up some parts for my van that I needed when I heard a ticking that sounded like a stone in my tyre which I thought it was so didnt think to pull over as why would I, why would i think it was a fault with my engine, I mean it's a fresh build when all of a sudden she started knocking her bearings off! My heart sunk! Anyway sorry to go on I just thought I'd share my journey with my rrs so far! So if I can avoid it I really dont want to rebuild my engine. Time for a fresh start, a fresh heart for her! So if someone could kindly tell me if it's possible for me to use the injectors that are in this gen2 engine and get away with having them coded to my car or do I need to put my injectors into this new engine?

Thank you in advance

Brazil
Gen 1 tô gen 2

Hello everybody. Thank you to the administration for subscribing to this group. I am from Brazil. I have a Range Rover Sport 2010 3.0 diesel. I have a problem with a broken crankshaft. Here it is easier to change the engine than to restore it. I found a gen 2 engine but there are obstacles like the oil pump with solenoid which seems the most difficult. Has anyone already made this change and what are the best solutions for the necessary adaptations. I would be very grateful if anyone could help me. A hug.
