Smart Key not working (L494)

The main battery went very flat and the AA had to jump start the vehicle. Now neither of the smart keys will do anything. Do they need to be reset or something and if so, any idea how.
Many thanks in anticipation.

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 Autobiography Zambezi Silver

My keys stopped working out of the blue a few years ago. I couldn’t get into the car with the remote or keyless entry so had to use the blade in the fob to open the car manually. I got into the car (alarm went off and tracker company rang me) then located the fuse for the passive entry , pulled it out then put back in. It has been ok since. In hindsight it would have been easier just to disconnect the battery for a minute or 2 just to reset the whole system. These cars have very complex electrical systems so I would try this first before taking it somewhere. If you have a lost or broken key policy with your breakdown cover or home insurance that could be another idea……
